BLUE UMBRELLA
Care, Develop, Achieve
DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
Welcome to Blue Umbrella, where human capital is our best asset
In an exponentially growing knowledge-based economy, and with globalization casting its shadows on all nations around the world, global communication becomes more and more critical.
Mindful of the current and foreseen challenges afflicting nations and individuals around the world, and as such challenges mainly affect the most vulnerable segments of societies, it is incumbent upon all of those who believe in humanity to stand together synergistically in an attempt to mitigate the negative impacts.
Accordingly, our services are extended as an integral part of an overarching endeavor to engage and empower marginalized quintiles and minorities in the process towards achieving their autonomy. This includes engaging women, youth, and people with disabilities and empowering them politically, socially, and economically. A goal which if achieved would bring about a colossal positive change to our way of life.
We have discovered early on that the resilience of vulnerable communities; refugees in specific and host communities in general, is heavily dependent upon sharing of knowledge and experiences, as well as the benevolent deeds that so many privileged individuals and communities are willing to put in.
In such a situation, our services come to play as the prop needed to push this effort forward; facilitating communication and breaking language barriers using a homogenous combination of artificial intelligence; which manifests in the state of art technology we have available; and human intelligence which manifests in our highly qualified and experienced staffs.
In conclusion, we are not in it for the money. Rather, our goals stretch way beyond that to such an extent where we can be proud of our humanitarian achievements.
Join our community, and help contribute to forging a more just and peaceful world.

A WORD ABOUT US
Establishment:
Ten 10 years ago, a group of young Jordanian activists were carrying out a research field mission in conjunction with local, U.S, and European organizations and universities; such as the University of Arizona, the McCain Institute for International Leadership, as well as the Department of Sociology at Stockholm University.
The mission was aimed at studying the best practices to build sustainable civil societies in areas affected by the influx of refugees. The team concluded that the adverse effects of the refugees' crisis on host communities and the socioeconomic structures cannot be mitigated without a self-empowered civil society that is able to optimally utilize the available resources in order to reduce the burden to be potentially cumbering future generations, the state and donors. Additionally, economic projects and entrepreneurship programs have to be able to support the local community, especially civil institutions and non-profit associations, in fulfilling their role in the preservation of security, stability and prosperity.
As a result, a multinational organization under the name “Blue Umbrella for Training and Community Development” was established in the United States and Jordan. The organization was established in Jordan a limited liability company, and was registered with the non-for-profit company record under No. (801) on 02/07/2016, pursuant to the companies' law No. 22 of (1997), and was granted the national number (200152396). The company had set a number of purposes; including the following to name a few:
Train local community members on leadership and management skills for the development of the community.
Train and build the capacity of individuals and entities in marginalized areas and impoverished communities, to improve the socioeconomic status.
Encourage volunteer work among the youth; by enhancing the needed skills for effective volunteerism.
Increase women participation in the economic, social, and public life.
Promote a synergistic community approach to social development.
Vision:
In a relatively short period of time, we were able to achieve a great success locally. We envision ourselves as a main contributor to world peace and a prominent promoter of communities' resilience.
Mission:
To facilitate the work of NGOs through bridging communication chasms, as well as taking a part in the local development processes and international cooperation. This can only be achieved when a common understanding is achieved, which relies heavily on good communication.
